Murderer- Unsatisfactory for me

Boys and girls, Murderer is just OVERRATED.

Murderer, very ambitious movie but the production crew just give away the very good story away just like that. Imagine you are given a rose, you can make good use of the rose but you give it away to a monkey.

Aaron Kwok well he is undoubtedly a very good actor. He handled the role of an inspector so well. The facial expression everything just makes you want to award him another, in fact the third Golden Horse Best Actor award.

The story, yes the flow. It is so uneven that it kills you in the cinema. The starting is so brilliantly choreographed! It gives you the impression that this movie is worth a hundred time watching. But following that, the pace of the movie went under controlled! Director immaturely handled TOO MANY repeated dialogue, an a hell lot of re-collection of flashed back memories. I am the audience and I was yelling: ENOUGH I GET IT! The director wants us to get every bits of the story parts but there isn't that many, we can handle that!

And the ending is supposed to give an impact to audience like "Oh My Lord". But due to mistakes in selection of actor the character is poorly delivered. The twist of the story? I just don't buy it.

Apart from that, the sister of Aaron Kwok is so relunctant and it make the story went very clumsy. The role serves nothing!

The whole movie by first timer director Chow fail to deliver a "more than one dimensional" film. All went well-executed but lack the skill to stitch the different acts together.

The movie is so powerfully promising only for the first 15 minutes.
