Just watched Confucius, a Chinese biographical film of a very (very very very very) famous philosopher and thinker, Kong Qiu (most known as Kong Zi).
Chow YunFat successfully make the best Confucius, he is tall and his head is big, well relatively. Confucius, his name Qiu (means hill) came after his big forehead. And that is cited in reference, i talk no bullshit here. LOL.

The movie also successfully captured and summarized the essence of Confucius life after 51-year-old. First in the Kingdom of Lu, Confucius helped the Lu Dinggong obtained the very first political victory between Kingdom of Qi. Then Confucius planned and implemented the "three fallen power", the political and military action in the hope of bringing down the power of the three families in Kingdom of Lu. However, the mission failed half-way, as the King was lost in the women presented to him by the enemies.
So Confucius left Kingdom Lu and began his wondering from state to states.
He went to Kingdom Of Wei and met this lady of Wei, called Nanzi. Confucius left for good after realizing his situation in Wei Kingdom is dangerous for Nanzi might exploit him for serving the Kingdom (and kept him for herself). Confucius is a man of moral, he left.Chow YunFat successfully make the best Confucius, he is tall and his head is big, well relatively. This movie also covers all of his students. The most famous one is Yan. Yan is a perfect representative of his master's faith Confucionism. You will find many classic thoughts of Confucionism in this movie.
Yan's selfless rescue of the teacher's manuscript shows his love of books, but also feelings of respect for teachers. This part is the part which I believe makes the viewers went teary.
484.b.c, Confucius returned to Kingdom of Lu, ending his years of wandering. cry~ he passed away after that, aged 73...I heard the screening of Confucius movie suffered from competition of Avatar. I hope you guys will find this movie "educational". Put the subtitle on, I did, to ease my viewing by 100%? hehe
